Greetings in
the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to all our friends across the world, and to
those who happen to click on our website in their searches. We sincerely hope
that we may have something of interest for you from the many articles we have
written over the years. For some twenty years we had a house church in our
home, and this created the need for much preparation of Biblical topics. Many
of our articles have come directly from the Bible studies Arthur gave during
those years. Our fellowship began in 1986 based upon the needs of our four
children, then aged 11, 13, 15, and 17; another family of five, and several
others, one of whom we adopted into our family. All of our family are now
married, and (as of 2008) we have 12 grandchildren.
We have
always been non-denominational, believing that God’s Church, in its
functioning, consists of small groups of believers who meet together for times
of worship, prayer, Bible study, and the sharing of each other’s needs.
Often in larger churches there is less opportunity for such interaction to
occur. However, in no sense are we isolationists or separatists. We believe God
has His children in every place where Christians meet together.
True
Christians should have a great sense of trust and security in our Lord and
Master so there is no danger involved in searching out what the Apostle Paul
called “the length and the breadth, the height and the depth”
of God’s love. This has sometimes led to investigations beyond the normal
scope of Biblical exegesis, as we have tackled such topics as Universal
Redemption, the identity of the Holy Spirit, and even the possibility of human
pre-existence. You will find the results of our searches in the indexes.
Our hope has
always been to share our studies as widely as possible. We love to have
fellowship with those we have never met, across the world, those who write to
us, sharing their views, either agreeing or disagreeing with us. As members of
the Body of Christ, we try to put into practice the words of Paul in Ephesians,
that “the
working together of each one part makes for the growth of the whole in
love.” This has never been
possible in past years to the extent available to us now in this technological
age with its emails and Internet facilities. It is both a privilege and a
responsibility.
Hold fast in
faith, hope, and love, until the Master returns and establishes His Kingdom.
May the rich blessings of the Lord be with us all, as we are patient in
tribulations, joyful in expectancy, awaiting the consummation of our faith
– to gaze upon the face of our Lord in resurrection.

Index
of Topics |
Articles appear in the various channels in date order, rather than ordered by subject matter. This is because we have merely added each new writing to the current list as it is sent out to our mailing list. However, correspondents have written to us, asking if they could have a list of articles dealing with a particular subject, and this has been taken seriously. We hope this Index of Topics may be useful, and save time searching. |
